Growth Perspective

There are times in our lives where we are given the opportunity to question. Where our ways of thinking are challenged and have to bend towards a new direction. Everything that was tried so far is simply not sufficient anymore and needs to be put into perspective. It’s okay to cry, to feel lost, hopeless and broken but there is one thing you should definitely avoid: stop moving. Life’s wear and tear is merely a test of how bad we want it. And this test has already broken so many people and made them stop in their tracks; why? Sometimes we think that the world is against us. But we can’t operate from there. Engaging in a fight that is me against the world carries a treacherous assumption. It withholds the fact that there is always interaction and correlation as you consciously experience the reality you choose to live in. Slipping into a mindset where you are a little particle of the universe which has the ability to interact with the particles connected to it, adds a whole new dimension to life. It puts you in a place where change is possible. Of course the most effective way to make changes is to begin with oneself. So as you walk through the difficult times, over bumpy tracks and dark passages, remember: You can always change the way you think and therefore change the response of the world around you. The results you are having right now are more or less the medium-term validation of your thinking patterns. So are your emotions. The control has always been in our hands. Nonetheless we quite often give it freely to the people around us and get upset if they are steering in a direction we didn’t want them to make us go.

The point here is that we can only head for happiness and fulfillment if we take responsible actions in respect of the mental pain that is inflicted on us. Most of the time we even inflict mental pain on ourselves because of the mindset we chose to accommodate. This makes it even more important to view the way we think critically. Because you are not losing if you always find a lesson in the things you are going through that’s rising you up. There is greatness in failure, happiness in the deepest state of grief and hope in the most tangled situations. The key is to look for ways out. We focus so hard on the pain, loss and dysfunction that we’re missing out on the best right in front of our eyes. Think about it. What went wrong recently in your lives and what could be the lesson behind it? Shifting that focus of yours to find personal growth is so critical. Don’t let temporary thoughts be a roadblock to reaching fulfillment in life. Choose a perspective that makes you see the opportunity, not the obligation.

Stay aware, Lobi
